Toshihiko Yoroizuka
After training for eight years in famous restaurants across Europe, this owner-chef became the first Japanese person to work as a pâtissier in a three-star restaurant in Switzerland. Upon returning to Japan, he established an "open kitchen" style of serving desserts as soon as they are made. He is also dedicated to supporting agriculture and revitalizing rural areas, having opened a private farm to become actively involved in growing ingredients. As a proud craftsman of desserts, he continues to play a leading role in Japanese dessert culture.
