This owner-chef began his Italian culinary journey at 19. He travelled independently to Italy, where he absorbed Italian flavors by working in famous restaurants. After returning to Japan, he opened Piatto Suzuki in 2002. Since then, his achievements, including a Michelin star maintained for 14 consecutive years, have made him one of the leading chefs within Japan's Italian restaurant scene. His sincere respect for ingredients and the spirit of hospitality with which he warmly welcomes customers have endeared him to many connoisseurs of fine dining.
