Stone and Light Plaza 9 Tibetan Restaurant & Cafe Tashi Delek
- Tibetan Cuisine
Beloved in Yotsuya for its authentic flavors. Heartwarming, traditional Tibetan cuisine.
Authentic flavors delivered straight by a Tibetan owner! “Shapaley” is a highly satisfying meat pie where meat juices overflow from a crisply fried dough. Also enjoy “Lamb Gyuma” packed with the umami of mutton, and juicy “Beef Momo” dumplings. A rare culinary experience where Tokyo’s multinational culture resonates with the rich bounty of the region.

Lobsang Kuroki
The owner-chef is a second-generation Tibetan born in exile. As a child, he was enrolled in a Tibetan monastery in the state of Karnataka in southern India. In 2015, he opened his Tibetan restaurant and café Tashi Delek in Japan, prompted by a desire to inform Japanese people about Tibet. The restaurant is renowned for avoiding the use of chemical additives and maximizing the natural flavor of vegetables to create food that does one good both physically and mentally.
