Kozo Nakayama

Kozo Nakayama, owner-chef of the popular Ebisu Japanese restaurant Shiawase Zanmai, transitioned from graphic design to become the top apprentice of Chef Masahiro Kasahara (of Sanpi Ryoron). Demonstrating exceptional culinary sensibility, he established his own restaurant after seven years. True to the restaurant’s name—which means “abundance of happiness”—he is a master at creating dishes that bring joy to diners.
