Takahiro Chiba
Born in Aomori Prefecture in 1979, this self-described introvert with a passion for games and anime moved to Tokyo to pursue his culinary dreams. After working at French restaurants in Tokyo, he traveled to France in 2009, where he trained at Michelin-starred establishments including Le Jardin des Remparts (now closed), La Tour, and Esquisse (now closed) in France’s gastronomic capital, Lyon. Upon returning to Japan, he opened Sans Façon in Nishihara, Shibuya in April 2012, before relocating to Yoyogi-Uehara in January 2018.
