Yahei Suzuki
Beginning his Italian culinary journey at 19, he trained under Chef Masaru Hirata and joined Cucina Hirata upon its establishment. After studying in Italy for a year from 1992, he independently trained at restaurants across Sicily, Tuscany, Liguria, and Piedmont. In 2002, he opened his own restaurant Piatto Suzuki, where he creates dishes that honor traditional Italian cuisine while showcasing seasonal ingredients’ natural flavors. The restaurant maintained one Michelin star in the Michelin Guide Tokyo for 14 consecutive years from 2007 to 2021.
