Aldo Urata

A third-generation Japanese-Peruvian from Trujillo in northern Peru, he first came to Japan at age 20. After marriage, he pursued a culinary career, gaining more than 20 years of experience in Mexican and other cuisines. He opened his Peruvian restaurant ALDO in Kita-Aoyama in 2016, relocated to Minami-Aoyama in 2019, and launched a new location at Azabudai Hills in 2023. His menu features Peruvian home cooking passed down from his grandmother and mother.
