Making Food Even More Fun – First Round of Stage Performers Revealed

At Tokyo Tokyo Delicious Museum, the stage programs are another highlight to look forward to!
This year, we feature two performance areas: “Stone and Light Plaza” and “Flower Plaza.”
From powerful live performances like jazz, DJs, and traditional Japanese drumming to fun family-friendly shows, there’s something for everyone.

Today, we’re excited to introduce the first group of artists performing on these stages!

Stage A – Stone and Light Plaza

At this stage, you can enjoy delicious food while listening to live music.
A wide variety of artists take the stage—from jazz and classical to R&B—filling the venue with sound and flavor in perfect harmony.

Strangers – Performing May 16, 17, 18

Formed in 2020 following an artist support initiative, Strangers focus on original instrumental compositions and collaborations with vocalists.
Each member brings a unique musical background, resulting in a sound with no fixed identity—a blend of distinct elements that remain individual, just like strangers.

Soundtype with Yota Miyazato – Performing May 16

Formed in 2023, Soundtype is a trio consisting of Yusuke Kono (Pa), Yuta Omino (Ba), and Atsushi Otsu (Ds).
Blending their diverse musical backgrounds, the group creates a genre-defying, resonant sound.
For this performance, they are joined by guest saxophonist Yota Miyazato (tenor sax) in a session full of fresh musical chemistry. *Yuta Komino (Ba) will not appear due to scheduling conflicts.

Alter Ego – Performing May 17

A jazz piano trio made up of Jinichi Ogata (piano), Hiroki Yasuda (bass), and Soichiro Ogawa (drums).
Since forming in late 2011 and beginning full-scale activities in 2015, they’ve focused entirely on original compositions.
Their achievements include a sold-out solo show at JZ Brat SOUND OF TOKYO and appearances at Nakasu Jazz, one of western Japan’s largest jazz festivals.

YoYo the “Pianoman” – Performing May 17

Debuted in 2003 as part of SOFFet and began performing live as “YoYo the Pianoman” in 2012.
He launched his own instrumental jazz project and has been active as a songwriter, composer, and arranger for TV and web commercials, including music for Takasu Clinic and Bridgestone Cycle.

MASSAN × BASHIRY – Performing May 18

MASSAN delivers raw, emotionally charged rap and vocals, as if echoing from a vinyl needle, while BASHIRY’s gritty guitar fills the space with nostalgic melodies.
Together, they create a genre-defying sound that feels both grounded and fresh—a completely new “form of music” that breaks the rules and transcends time and place.

Stage B – Flower Plaza

This stage offers more than just family-friendly music—it features a dynamic mix of performances, including samurai reenactments, traditional Japanese taiko drumming, and more.
Across the plaza, you’ll also come across unique open-air shows by Heaven Artists, bringing a festive and creative vibe to the entire venue.

Liquid Stella – Performing May 16

Formed in 2019, Liquid Stella is an instrumental band known for its jazz-rooted sound blended with catchy, unforgettable melodies.
They attract fans across generations and musical tastes.
